Cherish Bere

Cherish Bere is a Social Sciences Teacher at Beths Grammar School, Bexley. She has been teaching for 3 years and is currently an Assistant Head of Year at Key Stage 3. She is also a Governor chairing the Curriculum, Quality and Standards Committee. Cherish is passionate about effective teaching and learning and is currently studying for a Masters in Education Management at Kings College London.

In addition to this, Cherish is the Founder and Director of Effective Education Africa – a charity that works to support the provision of girls’ education in sub Saharan Africa. Effective Education Africa (EEA tweeting @theserieslondon) has recently partnered with Great Hood Academy based in Kadoma, Zimbabwe, to establish a sponsorship stream for disadvantaged primary school aged girls.
